In 1990, I began working at the Space Systems Laboratory at the University of Maryland. This picture was taken at the Neutral Buoyancy Simulator at Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Here, I am working with MPOD (an underwater vehicle for studing various modes of operation for small manned and unmanned spacecraft).
