I believe it was the Summer of 1992... The Graves
family decided to go down to the Jefferson memorial to
take a colossal family portrait. It sounded simple
enough, until the whole family arrived. Perhaps my memory
has only served to amplify the chaos leading up to this
moment... You see, everyone in my family is a tremendous
leader. Each of us organizing the picture at the exact
same time. After what seemed like a half hour of
excitement, discussion, and total confusion, we suddenly
sat down, had our picture taken... by whom, I don't even
remember... and the rest is history. All in all, it was a
very fun day. Just an average day in the life of the
Graves family. Our family is very strong and close.
The four families shown here are from the four sons of
Joe Graves Sr. and Cathy Graves (my Grandparents). The
four sons are: Joe Graves (my dad, in the back, in a suit
as always), uncle Ron (red and gray checkered shirt),
uncle Larry (yellow and blue striped shirt), and uncle
Gary (light blue shirt).
