Days of rushing to Calculus to get seats in the front row ("I paid good money for these seats"). The years of studying, watching Magnum P.I., and hanging out in the guys dorm. Working out in the gym year after year watching the new faces come and go. The years of the crazy four (Dennis, Mark, Chris, and Joe)... watching Top Gun a few too many times (and repeating quotes from the movie if it didn't happen to be playing), volleyball and pool parties at Dennis' parents house. The four of us hiding behind the blast shield (picnic table) waiting and waiting for our homemade hydrogen bomb to explode (it did, only it was about 15 hours later). Learning to SCUBA dive (with the crazy four) and gettin' hollered out of the Bahney House in Myerstown, Later on, teaching SCUBA together at UMD. The years working together at Space Systems Lab, the blisters from installing several miles of wire inside of Ranger (the robot). Ice skating on Wednesday nights... which indirectly lead to me eventually singing for Dennis and Paula's Wedding. |
