Cathy and I in my yellow '78 Jeep CJ5 in the early 1990's. Cathy and I grew up together here at home in Brentwood. I have more memories with her than I could possibly describe, from helping her to stand up for the first time as a baby, to singing for her and Terry's wedding a few years ago. If I had a strange, or interesting project going on around the house, she was involved. Anything from the train layout in my bedroom, to the darkroom in the basement, my extremely dangerous homemade go-cart, ham radio antennas in the trees, tree forts, hauling her onto and off of the roof of the house in a bucket (I swear, it was perfectly safe), blindfolded bike riding through the yard... for some odd reason she trusted me completely... and strangely enough, she was never seriously injured. We had great times. I tried playing her games too. Once I even tried (completely unsuccessfully according to her) to play 'House'. The real problem for her came when I was supposed to 'peel' some fake plastic corn. Apparently, I did it all wrong, and the game quickly came to an end. Many wonderful memories.
